Faster Fibre Broadband now live

The forest has been busier than usual, we have spotted almost a dozen people over the last few days, as the unaccustomed warmth and bright spring sunshine drew forth fresh green shoots and foliage, plus a flood of dazed and blinking citizens confused by less welcome, sudden and profound changes in their lives, briefly alleviated by this momentary false calm before the storm.

Just as the UK catches up with the rest of Europe and enters "Covid lockdown", we have finally convinced BT to connect up the fibre optic cable they laid across our ground back in 2016. The upgraded cottage wifi went fully live yesterday, on the day that the government got serious about enforcing social distancing and started closing beaches and urban parks.

The enforced pause in bookings has enabled us to make progress with improvements to the cottage, including new laundry and downstairs toilet, within the old stone "Brewery" outhouse.
