Hall

The main entrance is at the west end of the cottage, and opens into a warm hallway equipped with coat and boot racks, bench and chest of drawers filled with things to do.

The stairs lead off the hall and there are doors to Study, Sitting Room and well stocked under stair cupboard.  Both hall and landing have wall mirrors.

Like the rest of the ground floor the study has pale coloured terracotta flooring with under floor central heating. A large sunken door mat lies flush with the floor tiles.

Landing

The 1st floor landing (1st above ground floor) links both bedrooms, bathroom/toilet, and stairs to ground floor and attic.  The latter is not let to guests as the stairs are too steep.  It is lit by a window overlooking the parking yard, and pair of wall lamps, as well as by the stairwell chandelier.  A large chinese chest holds spare bedding.
